About the Wine:
The Volnay 2017 offers an intense ruby color, and its complex nose reveals notes of mocha, almond paste and cherry. Ample mouth with a cherry heart. Great persistence with well-integrated woody notes. Suggested food pairings are pork, veal, and mature cheeses. Cellar potential is about 5 to 7 years.
About the Producer:
The Maison was established in 1797 and the very first exports were in 1815. This estate supplied royalty back in the mid-19th century. It is an estate with immense history.  They pride themselves in producing wines that genuinely reflect their individual terroirs.
