About the Wine:
It is flowery with crisp acidity, with intense notes of white flowers, honeysuckle, violets, rose petals, apricot, mineral, yeast and citrus-lime. It is medium plus bodied and balanced with a long finish. This wine will match with ceviche, grilled sardines, calamari, crab cakes, think seafood that may be savory or smokey, like octopus, mussels, or scallops!
About the Producer:
In 1986, George Skouras created Domaine Skouras after a long history of studying wine. He grew up in Argos, one of the oldest towns in Europe, with 3,000 years of wine and cultural tradition. From there, he studied Agriculture at the University of Dijon in Burgundy, France. After graduating, he then got experience in producing wine throughout France, Italy, and Greece. He came back to his roots of Argos to build Domaine Skouras. Here, the winery is in the Nemea zone, the largest Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for red wines in Greece.
