Vatan, Tinto de Toro 2017

About the Wine:
Vatan is the pure representation of the oldest clone of Tempranillo in Spain, from some of the oldest ungrafted vines in the country. This wine shows aromas and flavors of black fruit and oak. It pairs well with steak and other red meats!
About the Producer:
This is one of the wineries run by Jorge Ordonez. Bodegas Ordonez exclusively works with ungrafted vineyards. He changed the world’s perception of Spanish wine by being the first to use refrigeration along every step of the way through the wine transportation process. He also was the first person to export local grape varietals such as Albarino and Grenacha.
